Your story...

How did you meet?

I'd been single for 5 years and pretty much given up. We met on a blind date. A mutual friend set us up, we don't really speak now which is a shame.

What attracted you to each other?

That he was quiet and really listened to me. I felt really comfortable with him and it felt like I'd known him all of my life corny I know! Plus the fact he didn't try anything on our first date he only kissed me on the cheek.

A memorable moment? (no wedding proposals, please )

When he met my boys and he just slotted in to our little family. The boys loved him instantly and I can remember standing in the doorway watching them play fight with the biggest grin on my face.

How long did it take you both to realise and admit you were in love with each other?

I told him after about 6 weeks I was drunk and it slips out, I think it was after 3 months when he said it but he admitted he loved me from the moment he saw my pic ?

What are your favourite quirks about each other?

That he gets me and just has to look at me to know exactly how I'm feeling

What are your least favourite quirks about each other?

He mumbles under his breath when we argue and when he speaks it's sometimes hard to understand him as his voice is really low and deep.

It's fun seeing how individual everyone's stories are!

Here's mine (or should I say ours)

How did you meet? We were part of the same music organisation but played for different groups. One day the conductor of the strings group and my choir leader asked me and a friend to go over to their group to play the flute for some of their pieces and our eyes met across the room!

Turns out that the friend who went with me used to have music lessons with his mum so she knew him She then sort of brought us together!

What attracted you to each other? You know I have no idea. I think the fact he's a cellist and I love the sound of a cello kind of helped. He said he just hadn't seen a girl for ages ?

A memorable moment? (no wedding proposals, please ) I'm starting to wonder why I answered this- I can't think of anything!

Probably the only thing I can think of (and it's not really a moment) is that he came round my house the first day we met up because the cinema was closed. The next week he came round again and pretty much just lived there. We've not been apart for more than a week in nearly 4 years and I still live with him. I'm very intolerable of people so to be in each other's pockets 24/7 for 4 years is a big deal for me!

How long did it take you both to realise and admit you were in love with each other? He didn't say anything at the time, but once we were serious he admitted to me that he loved me the minute he met me. For me I think it was a little longer, and probably wasn't until I went on holiday and was without him. I spent a good amount of money on phone calls that week!

What are your favourite quirks about each other? He always says that what he loves about me is that I'm not normal - yeah thanks.?

He said he likes that I play video games, watch old films with him and listen to obscure music. What I like about him is that he's funny. I know everyone says their OH is funny, but he genuinely does make me laugh all the time. Also, I love that he loves my animals as much as I do and talks to them in little baby voices ?

What are your least favourite quirks about each other? I dislike how awkward he is about social situations. Not in them, because he'll talk to people fine, but how awkward he is about them. For example, having to ring people up or even ask for a drink at a restaurant. I have to do -everything- or listen to him stomping around the house for an hour muttering 'I can't do it, I can't do it' and making a fuss. He's a big exaggerator/actor so he'll pretend to break down and cry which results in me just laughing at him and doing it anyway. He doesn't like how I talk to the tele. You know like if someone's being an idiot on the Apprentice or something and he's always going 'they can't hear you!!'

I think you're my twin!

I am always writing lists, which his mother does and he gets annoyed by. Also, he's always asking me if I'm fine and I'll say it in a huffy way because I'm fed up of being asked! Then I'll say something like 'I won't be fine in a minute if you keep asking me' and he goes ooooooooooooo (like when we were 5 years old!) Then he'll make some stupid song about how I'm angry all the time....

Not only that but my sister's name is Tierney and we call her Tizzie..... spooky!
