Your top five movies or series

Tillybean, 21 June, 2010 at 10:44 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 17

Hi All

Am trying to expand my DVD library and am looking for inspiration. If you had to pick just five either movies, series or one-off's, what would be on your list? Old, new, funny, sad, foreign....just looking for some new inspiration.

TIA.

    Hmm...

TV - I would have to agree with Lie to Me, Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashes. I love Spaced too, and Chuck.

Films - I love Leon, Battle Royale (Japanese movie), saw Cloverfield the other day and I havent enjoyed a film so much in ages! I do like Japanese films, so the original Ring, Dark Water, Versus are all cool. So long as you dont mind subtitles, and the occasional bit where something gets lost in translation! lol

    Films

    Ben Hur

Marley and Me totally traumatised me, proper sobbing, hyperventilating reminded me so much of having to let me old dog go ☹️ Watership Down had a similar effect !
