I think it can be helpful to have everything in one place, especially if you're asking for comments or opinions on something, because all the aspects of your wedding are on the one thread (so if you're asking for opinions on bridesmaid dresses, for example, we don't have to hunt down your other threads to find out what wedding dress you're wearing or what the venue is like)

And if you've been looking forward to starting one, it seems a shame not to!
