Are satin shoes a good idea in Autumn

I’ve recently seen the shoes of my dreams online at an amazing price but they are a pale blue satin and my fiancé and I are planning an October wedding. I’d love to hear from anyone about their experience with satin shoes for an autumn wedding and whether they’re a good idea! My reasoning for having the pale blue (aside from being my ‘something blue’) is that our colour scheme for the day is light blue and blush and I also thought I’m more likely to wear blue shoes again after rather than ivory.
