Artists Management Services Avoid!!!!

Hi Everyone!

I've seen a few threads on here about booking bands through Artists Managment Services. I do not have a good word to say about this "company" and would advise anyone who is looking for entertainment for their weddings to avoid them at all costs. We have been in dispute with since January over changing the date of our wedding. I tried to do it in good time - 7 months before our wedding to ensure we could secure the band for our new date. However I was told that we were outside the booking window and to wait until we were in the next batch of rebookings. I did this only to then be told we were unable to change our date (as the company were encouraging couples to still go ahead with their weddings) and the band were now not available on our new date but could we still continue to make payments even though the band would no longer be performing at out wedding and if we didn't we would be in breach of contract!? We are still in dispute with Artists Management Services over monies already paid and they have offered a good will gesture of a partial refund.

They are in denial that our contract is frustrated and I have highlighted on several occasions the reasons why it is frustrated. The main one being that the event cannot go ahead as planned at the time of booking. They have since stopped replying to me and still have all the money we have paid so far, with no resolution in sight. Planning a wedding is stressful enough without companies like this treating couples so badly. There is no compassion or understanding towards the restrictions in place and we have been made to feel as though we are to blame for the changes we have been forced to make. I urge anyone who is looking for entertainment for their weddings to use Entertainment Nation and avoid Artists Management Services completely.
