asking my friend to be a bridesmaid

Hi.

I'm getting married April 2015 in vegas and I want to ask my friend to be my bridesmaid but because I'm getting married abroad I feel like I'm putting a lot on her with the financial aspect.

Is it best to ask her when I give her the invite and explain I understand if she can't make it or give her the invite and if her and her partner accepts ask her then to be my bridesmaid.

    If I were you I'd ask her as soon as possible so she can try to budget for it if she thinks she can come.

    If money is tight for her is there any way you can chip in a bit for her? Maybe pay for a flight or accomodation?

    I think you should be up-front about wanting her to be your bridesmaid. I also do think you should consider paying for her flight as it's such a big ask. But the main thing is to talk to her. Xx

    I'd personally offer to help pay for flights or accommodation if asking someone to be BM abroad.

    Also agree to ask as soon as possible to give time to save.
