At what date should i give out formal wedding invitations

I’m getting married almost 1 year before you, so July this year
I sent my Save the Dates in August last year (we planned on them being out in July, but life got in the way). Our invites went out in January and have an RSVP of end of March on them. We’ll send invites out to like a secondary list to fill any declines (although we’ve had none so far) in March, with a RSVP for end of April.

I wanted all my RSVP’s by end of April, as I have to give final catering info 8 weeks beforehand, so just wanted the 2 week breathing space between the two deadlines.

We are getting married in May and sent ours out in August 2022 I think. We planned to give everyone plenty of time to RSVP and avoid clashes with any holidays any guests were thinking of booking (although they were all aware of the date from the sage the dates we sent out earlier)

Ideally, the best time to send out wedding invitations is six to eight weeks before the wedding.
