Anyone planning way in advance?? We are booking for August 2025. As we have 3 small children/needing to save/ wanting to do a few things first

Glad it’s not just me looking ahead! ?We’re looking at late 2024 - a move to Oz in between then and now made me think it’s worth starting already! I’m not sure how far in advance venues are booking though at the moment?

I booked my March 2023 wedding in October 2020. They said that usually it would be a bit too far in advance but due to covid, not a silly idea. I'd say it's a little in advance but no harm booking venue and registrar. The only thing to consider is your tastes may change so maybe not get decorations, dress and invites for a good few years.
