I'm thinking about having bathroom basket - with supplies for all the ladies - if that is what you mean??

Thinking about including: tissues, pain killers, nice hand wash, nice hand moisturiser, deodorant, perfume, clear nail varnish, elasterplasts, cooling face spray, sewing kit, mints, hair spray, hair brush, hair pins.

I like the idea of flip flop box too - but worried about buying lots and then no1 using them.

What do you mean about writing something to go with them??

I'm not so keen on the poems personally. I'm putting something like "Dancing Shoes" "Kick off your heels" on the flip flop basket. I'm not putting anything on the bathroom basket.

I'm with Red Baroness, I'm not too keen on the poems, plus we have guests speaking 3 different languages so I wouldn't fancy having to translate them!

I'll probably just have a small sign on them - maybe "Please help yourself" on the bathroom basket (not very inspired I know) and "Dancing Shoes" on the flip flops. I'm also going to have a pashmina basket too as we'll be (hopefully) having the whole wedding and reception outside so it might get a bit chilly in the evening.

I hadn't even thought of this but I love the idea of a flip flop basket! Think I'll be heading to Primark to see what they have on offer!

We're doing bathroom baskets aswell, and including:

    Handwash

    Hand cream

Toothbrushes (we're having a curry so thought these might help!)

    Toothpaste

    Mints

    Box of tissues

    Box of wet wipes

Nice hand towel (we're in a village hall and it's all a bit basic!)

We thought about painkillers but were worried about them being accessible to our younger guests so have decided to leave these with bar staff if anyone wants them (with anote in the basket to say as much)

Just checking you've cleared this with the venue. A lot of places refuse to give out medication.

That's where I got our from, last year in the sale. They were £1 a pair! They're really nice as well, with polka dots, some with stripes etc.

Last Saturdays couple did this and it went down very well. They didn't put a poem, just a note to say help yourself.

I would avoid any form of medication, particularly if there are children around, even first aiders aren't allowed to give out plasters because of possible allergies!!
