Being able to rsvp without selecting menu

This has been a severe pain point for us during our RSVP. We thought it was fantastic adding our menu as part of the RSVP but so many guest "can't see it" which I already know is complete bull but I'm more annoyed at the fact that a guest can RVSP and proceed without any error like "Please select from the drop down before submitting".

Is there any option/tick box that we can select to stop people RSVP'ing if they have not yet selected from the drop down menu? Once a guest confirms, they cannot re-enter it as it already says confirmed so we have to go on desktop version and reset the confirming back to pending. Not only is this annoying but the Hitched app is terrible because when you reset a linked couple back to pending, it disconnects the couple into individual people. Is anyone else having this problem? Or am I the solo idiot?
