Benidorm - the TV show and other english comedies?

Its brilliant, it has me and Mr Nora crying every week but thats probably because (rather shamefully) it reminds us of certain family members ?

Benidorm is not for me.

Gavin & Stacey is now unmissable viewing in our house, love it.

I have only seen the 1 episode of Benidorm & it seemed ok.

I love watching Gavin & Stacey at the moment. The 2nd series has just started here. I think that the first series is available on dvd but there are only 6 episodes per series.

I didn't like it. I saw it for the first time the other night. Mind you, when you are far from home, any British TV is great ?

I like Benidorm I think its funny.

If you search You Tube for 'Benidorm Jonny Vegas' there are some clips on there to give you an idea as to whther its for you or not.

The first series was better and many of the jokes from the new series are related to what happened last series. I wonder if the first series is on DVD?

Looks like i should give it a go then and i will hunt on you tube.

H's workmates told him it was hilarious so we watched it. I thought it was shit. They're from hindley though so maybe that says it all ?

Gavin and Stacey is very funny though.

Is gavin and stacey with martin clunes? i think that might have been on over here. i saw some of them and wouldnt say its side splitting funny. just ok. (if its the right one)

G&S is THE best comedy ever IMO. I only discovered it recently and watched the entire first series in one sitting, I couldn't resist.

Series 2 is already out even though it's not finished running. Soooooo good.

I think Benidorm is very funny, as is Gavin and Stacey. Both very different but both very funny.

Pan, you can download UK programmes, the day after they've been on on the UK. Sadly this is what we do over here as the choice of things to watch here is just pants.

What's the one that's on just now which is set in the 80's and they all sit oin their office and smoke at their desks and stuff? I only saw it the once and it was quite good.

I really like Benidorm and G&S - pretty much the only things I make an effort to watch at the moment.

I went off Benidorm last series, it was a bit too common, even for me.

But the first one of the new series was funny, it's the grandma of the council house family that does it for me. The mother is out of Rita Sue & Bob Too - remember that??

Gavin & Stacey is really good - I love Rob Brydon and Alison Steadman ?
