Hey folks, I'm starting to look for my dress, and as much as I love some of the ones I've seen online I cannot for the life of me bring myself to pay ££££ for a dress I will wear once (and maybe a few times around the house!) So I've been scoping out more budget friendly options and came across...

I'm starting to look for my dress, and as much as I love some of the ones I've seen online I cannot for the life of me bring myself to pay ££££ for a dress I will wear once (and maybe a few times around the house!)

So I've been scoping out more budget friendly options and came across Berketex Bridal. Has anyone used them recently? I've tried searching for reviews and a lot of what I'm getting is a year or more old. On their website they've got dresses around £300 mark which look beautiful so I'm really tempted.

Ideally my budget is about the £500 mark, less would be better. I'm also a plus size just to make things easier! Can anyone recommend any other budget bridal stores? I'd prefer somewhere with an actual physical store I can go to, I can't face ordering online and sending back etc. I'm in the east midlands so Nottingham, Derby, Sheffield.

    I agree that trying dresses in person is really helpful, especially when you’re working with a tighter budget. It’s much easier to judge the fit and quality before spending money. I’d also compare a few local shops and check their current sample-sale options rather than relying only on older reviews. If anyone is interested in animation and entertainment content as well, animotvslash is a separate site worth checking out.
