Berkshire wedding venue HELP

Hi All, we live in Maidenhead and are looking for a wedding venue - something not too perfect.

By not too perfect I mean I prefer over grown gardens rather than manicured ones, a little rough round the edges. I'm torn between a countryside/barn type venue or a warehouse type wedding.

Can anyone recommend something a little different and along those lines around my area? I seem to have trawled through all the perfect barns etc and not having much luck!

    The gardens might be a bit too 'manicured' for you but have you looked at wasing park? It was a close close 2nd for us! We also checked out Lillibrooke manor which must be practically on your doorstep.

    Monks Barn at Hurley Riverside Park looks amazing

    I know the feeling of wanting something thats not too perfect - i ended up having my wedding ceremony in my inlaws garden lol! This website was very useful though for ideas. Try National Trust and English Heritage places too, or Landmark places. I once did a wedding for a couple and 30 guests on Hampstead Heath as they wanted to hold it in a public place and walked to their favourite pub - so sweet.
