Best man...can't decide

OH is having 2 best men. What forms are you referring to?

As far as I'm aware, it's only witnesses whose names need to be on a form, so two best men should be fine?

They only need to know your details, both fathers details & the two witnesses' details to put on the marriage certificate. When my friend got married her OH had his best friend & his brother as best men. I can't remember who kept/ gave the rings but best mate gave a speech & brother read a poem.

Two best men are not uncommon and I have a two best men/man wedding comming up.

We have a best man and a top chap

I have a form from the registrar sent me that sets out how the day will go, when vows will be read etc, gives examples of vows we can have or send them our own. The form gets sent back 6 weeks before with our payment for registrar. We fill out dads details and it asks for how many bridesmaid , who is giving me away and best mans name

That is just so during the ceremony they can say

" And would Dave please step forward with the rings"

"I am reliably informed that Dave has the rings"

"hopefully Dave has the rings"

"does anyone know where Dave has gone"

We're having four best men! Letting them decide how they want to do the speeches and who has the rings.

We are having two best men. They are giving a joint speech and both have been listed on the form we sent to the registry office. Neither are our witnesses as we are having our mums. I think more grooms have two best men now and I have seen a number of good shared speeches. Dee x

I'm bridesmaid in a couple of weeks and there are 3 best men in the wedding!

My OH organised the stag, one is in charge of the rings and the other is making the speech.

Theirs is a civil ceremony so probably would have had to fill in forms like you, and there was no problem with the amount of best men.

My OH has two best men, his best friend (asked) and his brother (self-elected) I think it will work out well.

they're going to a speech between them (although last a heard they were planning a rap!) one will have the rings and they are planning hrs stag between them xx
