Birdcage Table Plan - Not on the High Street *FLASH*

chloe_chloe, 29 April, 2012 at 12:26 Posted on Planning 0 8

Has anybody bought this birdcage to use as a table plan? (Sorry if the flash is mahoosive!)

I really like it but am worried that it´s too big and I won´t be able to use it for anything afterwards. The site shows it as being 89cm high and 56cm wide!

I live in Germany so the shipping is too expensive to send it back if I don´t like it and I´m struggling to find many reviews about it.

Thanks!

I haven't bought it, but have thought about it.

I was also worried as to what we would do with it afterwards. I have seen one in a shop near me that is selling them, but also hires them for £10 so am now thinking of doing this.

Sorry, I don't have any ideas as to what you could do with it afterwards, but they are so pretty!

Thats lovely, Why not put it in the garden afterwards and trail a climbing rose or something through it so you have a lovely reminder?

You could use it as a funky photograph frame/holder afterwards peg photos to it.

I've not seen one before but I think its really nice and it could easily be used as a memo board afterwards.

I´m debating whether I could put it in the kitchen to use as a memo board afterwards. I like the idea of putting it in the garden but am wondering if it will survive the elements?

Loopz - it´s good that you have the option of renting it

I am using this and it is big but not bulky if you see what I mean? We're using it as a memo board afterwards like the above poster said.

Yes I know what you mean! It was mainly the height of it that I was wondering about as it´s nearly a metre high!

I think I will just go for it as I do love it.

I bought this a couple months ago to use for our wedding in September and it's gorgeous. It's big, but it's not bulky and we'll use it afterwards to hang wedding photos on in our living room - a really nice reminder of the day! I think it's definitely worth it.

I like the idea of using it as a wedding photo holder afterwards... even thinking of getting it myself now!!
