Black suit

Hi all,
I have always worn black, and looking into wearing a black suit for our wedding in February. I have been a bit uncertain as I knew some family members wouldn’t like it. Some friends have given me encouragement to wear it as it’s ‘me’. But now that I have told my family what colour suit I’m looking to wear, they really don’t seem happy with it. Should I stick with a black suit or reconsider? Thanks
