Blackout media weddings photography

Emma, 24 April, 2023 at 17:25 Posted on Planning 1 9
Hi, has anyone had any experience of dealing with or using ‘Blackout media weddings’ for their photography. Their price is VERY good and their photos seem good with a few good reviews. Basically I can’t find anything negative except the price seems too good to be true! Thanks!

There was a forum about this company a few weeks ago. If you search Blackout it should come up. Think it’s named ‘photography’.

However, as a general rule, when a price seems too good to be true, it's always a good idea to research the company thoroughly to ensure that they are reputable and that the quality of their work meets your expectations. You may want to MyMileStoneCard Login look for reviews or ask for recommendations from friends or family members who have had experience with this company. Additionally, you can try contacting the company directly to ask any questions or concerns you may have before making a decision.

Hello, we used them for our wedding September 2023. Absolutely awful, please don’t use them!! I wish we could turn back time and do the same. The guy Adam who correspondence for the business doesn’t do half the shoots and sends a random freelance photographer, we only received 400 of over 1000 pictures taken, the edits are awful and he is so rude and unprofessional. It took nearly 4 months to receive our pictures after constant chasing! I tried to leave a bad review on his Facebook page but it never made it! He doesn’t even have a website anymore (did when we booked in 2020)

I recently used this company, unfortunately for the price you get a half arsed photographer who doesnt really seem like they can be bothered to get any pictures,

He sat in his car for 4 hours at my wedding, we received a lot of random pictures but unfortunately not many with family and loved ones which we will never be able to get back now.

He did make us feel like we were just a burden and didnt have time us for.

We did a quick look and there are a few warning signs, there appears to be no website and there are no Facebook reviews? which is strange from a page started in 2015 - from personal experience, we are relative newcomers to the industry (2 years) and so are cheaper due to experience but we are very honest about this and ensure customer service is at the forefront plus we get a lot of our business from personal recommendations etc, we always try to meet our couples at least once in person before their big date and we are always 100% the people who will turn up on your day. We have google, hitched and Facebook reviews and anyone can talk to our past brides. We would suggest you ask some very specific questions such as will you be doing the photography? have a good look at the contract, see if you can speak to any past brides, and have a look at some of the past wedding galleries, all of this should be no problem.

    Hope this helps Smiley smile

I would be sceptical that you would get the photographer you booked. They claim to be able to do a half day for £450 or a full day for £750 and that they travel anywhere in the UK for this rate and don't charge extra for travel or overnight accommodation. There is no way they can make a profit doing this, especially with fuel prices the way they are now. And there is no real information about 'Adam', just vague waffle about how 'we' do this, that and the other. I suspect they probably have a database of photographers and you get assigned whichever 'Adam' lives nearest to you! The positive reviews will be the ones who were lucky enough to get an 'Adam' who is a good photographer!

If you compare their website with those of other photographers, most of them have a photo of the photographer in the 'about' section, along with a bit of blurb about how long they've been photographing weddings, their background etc.
