Blackwatch Tartan Colour Scheme

Hi! I was wondering if anyone has any experience of Scottish weddings where the groom's kilt is blackwatch... I'm currently trying to nail down a colour scheme and just can't seem to decide on an option so wondered whether anyone had any ideas on what colours people typically go with when wearing this tartan – it's so dark, I'm afraid of choosing very dull/drk colours! I was thinking a navy blue or dusky blue/grey, emerald green or sage and a burgundy/maroon colour? We're getting married in November so a proper autumnal feel! Any advice would be great - thanks!
