Blessing Invitation... Wording Advice? x

MrsMac2be, 24 September, 2010 at 19:36 Posted on Planning 0 4

We are getting married in July 2012 and as you may know we are getting married abroad and coming back for a blessing and reception for family and friends, as its our 2nd time around we are hosting the blessing ourselves.

Am thinking about the invites and I know what I want them to look like but the wording I'm struggling with a tad, so if anyone would be able to assist?

Many thanks xx.

I like the wording, we will be hosting the blessing so would just alter the wording slightly at the top but I really like about your post is the gift list part, as we live together and have for 5 years we have all we need so is asking for money an "ok" thing to do? As I'm sure some guests will ask what we would like or if we have a gift list somewhere and we really dont... we have everything we need.

I was thinking about vouchers for a specified travel agents so we can go away at some point but then we are getting married abroad with the blessing here when we get back so to ask for travel vouchers would mean yet another holiday??? xx
