Mrs Cee, 28 July, 2009 at 11:48 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 13

Its BMF tonight and they are having fitness tests and I just wondered if anyone had been and is it as hardcore as it sounds, its only my 3rd session and I am slightly scared. It will be ok won't it and I won't be broken at the end? ️?️

I haven't done one yet. There was a session at our class last night but I bottled it and went for normal training instead. Didn't speak to anyone afterwards to see how they found it but did see them running around a massive field. Lots.

Oh deep joy! The instructors told us that it was a good idea to take part in them because you get to see how your progressing well I can already tell them that I'm a bit crap I don't need to prove it. Oh well we'll see how it goes and I'll report back whether I survive or not!

I haven't done one yet, but have had a look at the scoring system on their webpage.

I worked out for the 1500m run - which they say for blues should be 7.40min+ that it'd take me about that to do just the 1k so about 11mins to do 1.5k. This is based on a 12 min mile (I'm usually an 11ish minute mile when I jog - I'm a plodder rather than a jogger though, and def not a 'runner')

Although I actually find the first 10 mins the worst when jogging as it takes me this long to get heartbeat/breathing regulated and get a good rythm going. Once I've done the worst, first 10 mins, I can plod along for half an hour with not much extra effort)

You sound abit like me, i can plod along for quite awhile but I am no means fast and I don't think I could manage 1500m in 7.40 eek It also takes me a while to warm up! I might not be alive at the end of it.

I haven't done one either. I want to have a few more normal BMF sessions before I try that.

There is no way I could run 1500 meters yet ?

Well i can run 10km or at least jog 10km so hoping I'll be alright!

Just realised that they run a normal session along side the fitness tests so I will probably do that instead considering its only my 3rd session!

Totally get where you’re coming from! I was anxious before my first few BMF sessions too, but it really does get better once you find your rhythm. One thing that helped me was having a structured plan between classes. I’ve been using MadMuscles to stay on track and build endurance — it’s easy to follow and keeps me motivated. If you’re curious, I found this madmuscles review really helpful for understanding what to expect before trying it. Stick with it, you’re doing great, and you’ll feel proud after pushing through!

It sounds like you're dealing with a frustrating issue—fluctuating temps and minimal heat often point to air pockets, sensor faults, or even another ruptured desiccant bag. While sorting that out, if you're also prepping for any military fitness evaluations, this Army fitness grading resource might be helpful to track your training progress and understand scoring better. Hope the heating issue gets resolved soon!

Before investing in MadMuscles, it’s crucial to understand what you're signing up for. MadMuscles claims to offer personalized fitness plans, but user experiences vary greatly. Some praise its tailored workouts and motivation tools, while others highlight issues like unexpected charges and difficulty canceling subscriptions. To make an informed decision, it's wise to check user feedback on trusted review platforms. One helpful resource is https://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/madmuscles.com where real customers share their experiences. Reading reviews beforehand can save you time, money, and frustration by helping you decide if MadMuscles is the right fit for your goals.

Yeah, I’ve been to BMF fitness testing, it’s a solid way to push your limits and see where you stand physically. Great energy, and the team really motivates you to give your best.

If you're into tracking your fitness progress like that, you should also check IPPT score regularly. It’s another great benchmark to see how your strength, endurance, and overall fitness are improving.

Exercise bikes have become one of the most popular fitness tools for people of all ages. They provide a safe, low-impact workout that improves cardiovascular health, burns calories, and strengthens leg muscles. Unlike outdoor cycling, an exercise bike allows you to train at home regardless of weather conditions. With growing health awareness, the demand for high-quality bikes is rising rapidly. Choosing the right exercise bike manufacturer is essential, as it ensures durability, comfort, and advanced features like adjustable resistance and digital tracking. Investing in a reliable exercise bike can help you stay consistent, achieve your fitness goals, and maintain an active lifestyle.
