Booking a honeymoon

I’m getting married in August and I’m looking to book a honeymoon abroad for just after the wedding.
I just wondered if people had any recommendations for either booking things themselves online or through a travel agent? Or any specific companies you had a good experience with? Or ones to avoid?

    We’re booking with Trailfinders, and they have been fantastic! They do a registry as well, so you can include your details and people can donate into your honeymoon fund instead of/as well as having a gift list, if that’s something you’d like.

    We got married on the 8th Jan this year & we did 2 weeks in a resort called “ Grand Palladium White sands “ in riviera maya mexico! I honestly couldn’t recommend it enough! The resort was excellent, the extensions through TUI were amazing! We swam with sea turtles & dolphins ect.


    That was all booked through TUI who again we couldn’t recommend enough!
