Booking a wedding for 8 weeks time

We’ve found a last minute wedding deal for the start of august at our dream venue and are looking to book it in. Does anyone have experience with planning a wedding within 6 weeks and if it’s possible!? What do I need to prioritise straight away?

I've had a couple of friends who have planned weddings in that length of time and done it. You just need to be prepared to be very flexible - e.g. for a wedding dress, you're looking at high street, mail order or second hand/sale models. And you can't be too picky over the style of your photographer/florist etc - you just need someone who will do a competent job who is available in that time. Just get your invites out asap so that people have enough time to book time off work/accommodation etc.
