We're getting married on 22nd October! I'm so excited. We've decided to both change our name to an old family name. I would then also put my maiden name as a middle name.
Has anyone had to do this or is planning to do this?
There's really different advice online about how to go about it. I don't know whether we should just change by deed poll after the wedding, but some other sites are suggesting that we change my partner's ahead of the wedding and then use the marriage certificate to change mine (though I think the middle name is an added complication). I don't know if we have time now to change my partner's ahead of the wedding.
Any advice?
