Bridal Jewellery

Lindsey-15, 18 June, 2014 at 13:00 Posted on Planning 0 12

H everyone,

I was wondering if any one had any suggestions where to get Bridal Jewellery from?

I can't use 'Fashion Jewellery' as I am allergic to the metal they use, so at a mimimum I'm looking for Silver. Not really sure on what price range, just nothing too extortionate, maybe no more than £50-£60 per item? Not sure if that is very realistic?!

I live in the Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire area, so if you know of any local shops or desingers, or even national companies I can look at, then I'd really appreciate it Smiley smile

Thank you!

Lindsey

Start off by just looking at Debenhems, John Lewis websites etc. You can filter for silver jewelry. And you can filter if you want a specific bridal look - eg pearls or sparkly bits. Debenhams do a big 'Simply Silver' range.

That will give you a basic idea of what is available from £10 - £50.

Then you can go a bit more boutique-y with searches. I'm sure some of the gals on here can recommend some awesome wedding jewelry designers. You can then decide whether you want to buy something a bit higher price or unique based on what you've learnt is available from the chain stores.

I went round the houses with jewelry. Drove me nuts. Got some from etsy, but then eventually wore some Debenhams earrings when I FINALLY found some I loved.

My friend/MOH is making mine. Swarowski (think I've spelt that wrong!) hearts or off centre diamond shape on silver loops. Not sure what finish/colour yet as haven't sorted my dress but she does lots of different ones. The dresses I'm considering won't need a necklace but she does them too. She's based in Chesterfield, let me know if you'd like her details.

HIB lisaloulou owns Lou Lou Belle Designs. She has ready made stuff or can adapt her designs to make you something bespoke, which is what she's done for me. Very reasonable and excellent service and product.

    Hello,
I was having the same problem, although not due to an allergy but reluctant to spend a lot on essentially costume jewellery that may go green!
If you have a big tk maxx near you that's worth a look, I got a sterling silver fiorelli bracelet for £25 down from £100, very chuffed with that find! Accessorize also have a sterling silver selection which is very well priced too xx
