Bridal sash ideas - flash me!

I've chosen both mine and my bridesmaid dresses and was wondering if you lovely hitchers could help me with some sash ideas.

What I'd like for flower girls (in ivory)...


When I tried on the dress in the shop the assistant put a sparkly sash on that I liked but I don't think it's in keeping with everything else. I'm thinking perhaps some pearls or some flowers? I even quite like the plain belt modelled on the picture. Ideas please Smiley smile

    I don't really think any of them need a sash, perhaps as you say a belt on your dress

    Sorry, I should have said, I don't want sashes for the bridesmaids or flowergirls. I just put the pictures there to show people why I don't think the glittery one will match the 'theme'. I'm just after a belt or sash for myself Smiley smile

    You could make your own, there are lots of tips on YouTube. I made this one but I'm now going to take the feathers off it as I've changed my mind....again!

    I sell brooches the same as the decoration on Mrs Spongebob's so I know you could definitely make something similar with a plain bridal sash or wide ribbon, or find some wide beading

    Apart from burnt and sore fingers, they are really easy to make! Have a play around with beads, flowers and brooches and then you will have the perfect belt for your dress.

    Bookish I love that dress! I've seen lots of LLB ones that I WANT!

    SpongeBog - is you dress Marc Le Carr? If it is RavioliRuby got married recently in that dress and it was stunning. I've tried it on, never thought of adding a sash to it though.
