That is a lot! There's no set limit on the number you can have, but it's worth thinking about the logistics and cost. Nineteen sets of outfits, flowers, hair, makeup etc is going to come at a very steep cost, plus you may struggle to find a venue that can accommodate so many people getting ready at once. Not to mention finding a hair and makeup business that has enough staff to deal with so many at once. And if you are getting ready at different locations, then you need to consider transport to the ceremony. You also need to consider where they are going to sit/stand once they've walked down the aisle. Especially if you have a similar number of ushers/groomsmen, you could be running out of space!

The other thing to consider is how many guests you will have other than the bridal party. Nineteen is going to look much less out of proportion if you have 300 guests than if you have 30.

Vastly too many!! I would say half of that would be an extreme amount. Are you planning to pay for all their dresses, hair and make up?

Far too many. Not even just from a cost standpoint as you could be very wealthy for all i know - but logistically it would be a nightmare to get all of their hair and makeup done in the morning, and getting them from the place youre getting ready to your ceremony - not like you could fit them in a regular wedding car.

I know its hard picking and choosing between friends who will be your bridesmaids, but only having a couple will lead a lot less people to feel snubbed than having every friend as a bridesmaid so anyone who isn't will feel like you don't like them.

Personally my bridesmaids will be my MOH - my sister and and two closest friends. I have many other amazing friends I would love to have in the wedding party but it was much easier to pick who makes the cut with a smaller number. and its a lot less expensive to pay for the dress, hair and makeup of 3 people vs 16!

It sounds as if you have already decided you will have this many, so I'm not sure why you are asking us - but if you are determined on this size of wedding party, do spend some time working out how the logistics will work, e.g. where they will be during the ceremony. And also check you have enough getting ready 'space'.
