Bridesmaid dress colours - help! 💐 1

I’m in need of help and I know that you’ll all have some great advice!
My florist and I have put together a mood board for the flowers I’d like as I want some bright colours.
I need help deciding on bridesmaid dress colours though, I don’t want anything bright as I think it will take away from the flowers. What kind of colours would you go for? Thank you in advance 💕

Try having a look at a colour wheel and see if any opposite or complementary colours jump out at you. You could either pick out one of the flower tones or go for the green/blue range.

    Hello,

You're absolutely on the right track by wanting the bridesmaid dresses to complement — not compete with — your bright floral vision! If your flowers are full of vibrant tones (think bold pinks, oranges, purples, or yellows), then choosing more subtle, grounded dress colours will really help the florals pop in photos and in person.

Here are some colour ideas that work beautifully with bright flowers:

    1. Soft Neutrals

Champagne, beige, taupe, or soft mocha

These are timeless and elegant, and they let your florals really shine.

    2. Dusty Tones

Dusty rose, dusty blue, sage green, or mauve

These are muted versions of colour that won’t clash but still add depth.

    3. Earthy Tones

Terracotta, olive, clay, or warm grey

Perfect for outdoor or boho weddings, and they pair beautifully with colourful blooms.

    4. Soft Pastels

Pale lilac, blush, powder blue, or mint

These can bridge the gap between muted and cheerful, offering a soft pop without stealing the show.

    5. Classic Tones

    Navy, charcoal, or deep emerald

These darker tones make bright florals stand out in a dramatic way and feel very refined. CostcoBusinessCenter
