Bridesmaid dress websites

Phoebe, 12 March, 2023 at 20:12 Posted on Wedding Attire 0 2
Hi,
Have just started looking for bridesmaid dresses. Stuck on where to look, am happy for a range of suggestions. I do like the idea of floral potentially. We are looking at a Boho, summer party theme.
Also stuck whether I want my bridesmaids want to feel really special and try and please everyone or if I should keep them simple and focus on myself. Any suggestions would be great ! Thanks xx

    What's your dress like?

I'm going boho beachy for my theme, and my dress is super lacey and kind of white over gold. It's making me err towards block colour for bridesmaids dresses because I'm worried the big lacey florals on my dress next to floral bridesmaids dresses with all of us holding colourful flowers too might risk looking a bit clashy and overwhelming...

On the flipside, if your dress is more block colour, then floral bridesmaids dresses could be a great way to bring this vibe in!

We found bridesmaid dress options really hard. Mainly because hardly any physical stores stock them, I'd really like to see them in person before commiting!

I found that you have options of:

Online Retailer: JJ's House, Ever Pretty, Azazie (or similar, there are a few of the sort) - we did their try at home with a dupe of the dress my girls ended up choosing. I would recommend ordering a try on if it's an option so you can get a feel for the dresses. Worth sinking the £10 imho.

High Street: ASOS, Monsoon (and similar) have a few if you search on there. Range of colours are limited in the styles in comparison to JJ's House

OnlyWay / MultiWay (or similar, there are quite a few now) - we found that if boutiques 'stocked' bridesmaids (for adults, mainly, children's was a little easier), it tended to be one of these. Come in ranges of colours, usually 'one size', and girls can put their stamp on it a little

A Bridesmaid Designer: These tend to be more expensive than the other places, and have a little longer lead time (you're looking at 2-4 months). Tiffany's Bridesmaids, Maids to Measure, Sorella Vita, Sisterhood, TH&TH, Dessy (Saw quite a few floral designs on Dessy's website) and others. If you load their webpages, they'll often list stockists. Just don't be surprised if there are only a few in the country...!

    Best of luck!
