Bridesmaid Dresses

Sophie, 10 December, 2023 at 07:53 Posted on Wedding Attire 1 10
Hi,
We are getting married next August in South London & can’t wait for the day!
Wondering if anyone had any advice on a good website or shop for Bridesmaid dresses? I have 3 bridesmaids who are all different body shapes & I want them all to feel beautiful on the day so I would like them all on one colour but to pick a design that they’re comfortable in. One bridesmaid will also be 1 month post birth so will need to consider that too. Thanks so much!

Hi Sophie! I got mine off of ever pretty in the end and oh my they are gorgeous! The quality is amazing! I ordered 4 and only 1 fit. The sizing isn’t the best but I knew what I was working with after that! I’m very impressed and got them much much cheaper than I thought! Bonus! My girls range from 10-24/26 and they’re wearing the same colour and same style and they all look absolutely amazing!

    Hi girl,
What I would do with my bridesmaids is I’m going to give them a colour for their dress and they can choose style, pattern and fabric (I don’t really care tbh as I can’t afford to pay for their dresses) from any store they want that would suit their budget and most importantly their shape, so they get to pick it for themselves.
Good online stores I have found that have typical bridesmaids dresses are ASOS, Club L London, Six Stories, Meshki, and of course you have your typical Boohoo, PLT and Shein. Hope that helps 😊

    Hey!
This is where multi way dresses work really well. As they account for all body sizes and shapes.
There relatively priced on infinity dresses UK and the quality is supposedly good (from reviews). Another alternative, which look a bit more luxurious are Victoria Lou bridal and Kate’s Dresses, they’re about £100-£120 each. They do match BM dresses with grooms pocket squares for an addition fee also on Kate’s Dresses too which is ideal if you’re wanting a different colour or particular shade X

    Hi,

I used JJs House just because the dresses can be custom made to measure. I had 3 bridesmaids too. Chose a colour and let them choose the design and dress in that colour.

I went with Maya deluxe dresses and gave bridesmaids an option of different styles (all maxi but different top halves), ended up that they all chose the same one but everyone’s really confident and comfortable with their choice! I got them in the Black Friday sale so they were reduced too!

    Hi,

I got our bridesmaids dresses from Wed2b. It enabled us to get all of them in a shop to try them on, choose colour that suited them all, but two have one style, and another two have a different style as they are all different body shapes and sizes.

It was just easier for us, as one of my bridesmaids lives in a different country so it was easier to go on a one day organised trip to a shop, then order! I was going to do Asos or Monsoon sale, but I have to confess I couldn't face the stress of trying to get the bridesmaids to order their own dresses, see if the colours suited them, returning items etc.

I think giving them a colour works too - it might be worth giving a shop/website too, if you want the colours to be identical.
