Bridesmaid dresses - buying online

SunnyRedDecor92142, 20 January, 2021 at 21:47 Posted on Planning 1 8
Hey!
We're due to get married on the 25th April. Because we've been in and out of lockdowns there hasn't been a chance to go bridesmaid dress shopping.

I don't know what the situations going to be with when non essential shops will be open again and even when they are I don't know if there'll be time to order a dress from a shop. So has anyone got any experience of buying a bridesmaid dress online? I'd rather we could go to a shop but online is a back up plan just incase!

Hi! I got my bridesmaids dresses online (2 different styles but the same colour). They are made my Oasis and I bought them via Next, John Lewis and ASOS. They’re great quality but not too sure if oasis are still doing bridesmaid dresses now they’ve been bought out by Boohoo?
Either way I found all of those websites had good options and also Little Mistress had some nice options too. They were all really easy to have sent to each bridesmaid and they could send them back without any hassle if the dresses weren’t right or the wrong size etc. As they all had free returns.
I hope that helps a bit! Good luck with your shopping!

I bought my BM dresses on line from Oasis. I’m getting married the day before you (hopefully).
Personally the great thing is that they didn’t cost a fortune, my BMs would likely wear them again and they are standard sizes so I knew the sizes to order. Did a drive by leaving the dresses on their doorsteps to try on. Right 1st time!

    Good luck

Mine were from Victoria Lou Bridal and they are brilliant. They are also all one size and can be done in different styles.

Hello! Still plenty of time! I got mine from JJS House. Huuuuge selection in lots of colours and styles and a decent price too. The quality is really good and they sit nicely.
They do sting you a bit on shipping costs though (circa £60 for 4 dresses. I think they come from China) and took about 4 weeks to come, so do bear that in mind when or if you order. It’s exciting to shop bridesmaids dresses - enjoy!

We’re looking at getting ours online, from a company through Amazon called Ever Pretty. They’re relatively inexpensive, come in a range of colours and designs and, from experience of wearing a dress from there as a bridesmaid myself, pretty good quality.

I second this - I got the Victoria Lou Bridal dresses for my bridesmaids, they’re really good quality, amazing selection of colours and all 7 of them like it...contemplating getting one for myself to wear to weddings in the future!
