Bridesmaid gifts

Coopertobe, 1 January, 2018 at 23:25 Posted on Planning 0 8

Hi everyone, I'm getting married this month!!! We are in the final stages of paying everything off and I'm now working on bridesmaid gifts. On the morning I'm going to give my bridesmaids a gift bag with some goodies in but I'm struggling now on what else to put into them. At the minute I have a bracelet each, a novelty hangover survival kit in a organza bag, personalised champagne flutes and a bottle of prosecco, and I'm waiting on their matching necklaces to come through on an order, but I think it's missing something. Any suggestion?

In my bags i've got a bridesmaid robe, a swarovski jewellery set (earrings and necklace), and a glitterised champagne glass and prosecco in their favourite colours. I was going to put more in but i went for quality rather than quantity and spent a bit more on the three/four things I included.

Thanks, I've got them all personalised dressing gowns too, I'm wondering if I should have all them hanging up and their gift boxes sitting beneath them? Should I give them their gifts when they arrive or later? As I want them to wear their robes for hair and makeup. So many finer details to worry about, I want everything perfect xx

I'm doing little overnight pamper packs too, my bridesmaids are staying the night before with me, but even if yours are going to be staying the night of the wedding you could do it. I'm putting in stuff like face masks, candles, a nail varnish that matches the colour scheme, drinks, make up remover, a personalised bridesmaid mug, I'm also doing dressing gowns and putting their bridesmaid jewellery in there too.

Hi, wonder if I could ask a question?

I see you are all giving bridesmaid gifts the night before/morning of your weddings. Are you also giving them another gift as part of the grooms ... 'the bridesmaids look beautiful/thank you' speech?

I've been a bridesmaid twice and both times been given a gift as part of the Grooms speech (but nothing before), so just wondered what you would be doing??

Thank you in advance Smiley smile

The only gifts the bridesmaids are having is the ones we have for the morning, totalled up it’s rather a lot of money, they have told us not to spend anymore on them because we paid for hair and Mua even though they wanted to pay for it themselves, so they are really grateful. we will be giving mother of the groom and thank you flowers for family members who have really helped us. Xx

Thank you for your reply. Yes that's what I'm worried about, spending too much money. I might do the same and give the bridesmaid gifts on the morning as we will also be doing thank you flowers/gifts to family members during the grooms speech

I best get looking at what I get my lovely ladies xx
