My bridesmaid has this dress

and some shoes which are like these https://www.next.co.uk/g373276s7

My bridesmaid would really like something to go round her shoulders but I am really struggling with what would go? Any ideas?

As its a one shoulder, i think a pashmina would probably look best. Maybe similar colour to the shoes??

What you choose would depend if the BMs are wearing the shrug just to keep warm & take off for photos, or, will they be wearing the shrug ALL day? If its to keep warm for a winter wedding, you'd want something more substantial, but if its just for the shoulders, a pashmina or feather type shrug would do. As its one shoulder, I agree than nothing fitted like a bolero.

Colour would again depend if it was to be worn all day in pics or not. Majority of feather shrugs only come in black or white, but a pale pink or nude colour like the shoes would go well if you could find it. Here are some ideas, but not necessarily in these colours:

    Thank you everyone,

I probably should have given more information it is a summer wedding (July 28th) and the reason we need something is my bridesmaid isn't very comfortable with the tops of her arms and for modesty in church.

I really like the second Debenhams one Teal and the John Lewis and agree that a pashmina will go better with the one shoulder look. My main concern is my bridesmaids being comfortable really.

    xx
