Hi Ladies!
I've been thinking about my bridesmaids (2 adults and 2 teens) and what we will be covering for them. Obviously we'll pay for their dresses, and shoes if they don't already have anything suitable; we're not fussed about a particular style/colour/heel height etc. In fact at our venue they'll be fine in nice flip-flops or glitzy sandals under long dresses.
When it comes to hair, make-up etc I'm a bit torn as to how much we should cover and what we can leave to them. We don't want any specific look or style, just for them to be comfy and feel nice on the day. I was thinking of offering to pay for either hair, make-up or nails for each of them and let them decide what they'd prefer vs what they're happy to do themselves? I'd love to pay for everything for all of them but a) I don't even know how the logistics of that would work with 5 of us getting ready at the same time and b) I would never expect that if I were a bridesmaid.
Just to add they're not expected to do anything or help out in any way before the wedding. I'm not having a hen do for them to organise, I only want them to be there on the day to get ready with me and be recognised as close friends / family by virtue of being bridesmaids.
Any thoughts?
