Bridesmaids proposals

We got these, £5 each, you can personalize them, put the different role etc and we got frames for a couple of quid in Asda. Our BM's loved them and they are still sat on their display in their houses. the boxes are a nice idea but as you say soon add up!

I just ordered lovely cards from etsy and wrote personal messages in each. 🥰

I ordered scratch cards off etsy! They were really cute and came with a little heart for them to scratch off. Bought 5 and they cost me like £16 x

On Etsy I bought 4 acrylic cupcake toppers, they were personalized for £4.50 for 2. I’m buying cakes from my local bakery which will be about £10, that’s 2 cupcakes each. I got boxes from a cake website that were £10 for a pack of 10. They’re clear with a gold bottom that fit 2 cupcakes in each and they’ll be able to read it before they open it as the boxes are clear and will be presented nicely. A little keepsake and something to enjoy.

You could buy nice balloons and put confetti and the message inside and then ask them to pop the balloon

You can bulk buy will you be my bridesmaid cards. Then add a small bottle of wine/Prosecco/chocolates.

Why not do a greetings message on a free app? Would the money be best spent for the wedding day?

I’ve ended up going for cards with a photo and nice poem inside and then a mini bottle of fizz with a sticker on saying bridesmaid / Moh ! For my 2 nieces who are too young for the alcohol I picked them up some little compact mirrors with their initials on🤍
Who knew it would be so stressful😂 I’m planning on handing them out around Christmas 😀 x

I made boxes myself, I have 3 bridesmaids, a flower girl and a page boy, so 5 boxes in total. I ended up buying square cake boxes off Amazon. I already had the straw stuff to pad out the bottom of each box. Loads of stuff cheap on Shein, but just give yourself 3 weeks or so for it all to arrive as it can take a while. In each of the Bmaid boxes I put a face mask, a keyring (from Shein) that had different words on it, a mini bottle of prosecco, a lipstick and a mini makeup fixing spray. I also made little glass bottles that had a tiny photo strip of me and them on it and on the back it said "Will you be my Bridesmaid?"... a nice little keepsake that they could hang on their Xmas tree! I obviously altered the contents for the flower girl and page boy but still did the glass bottle for them too. I then used a glue gun to create a fancy ribbon bow and a flower on top of the box. They looked gorgeous and my Bridesmaids were very happy with them!



Loads of ideas on Pinterest - saw someone get a balloon that had a photo of her and her friend inside with confetti and it said will you be my bridesmaid written on the balloon.
