Very much depends on your venue, if you got a school hall or a church hall, it may cost £££ rather than ££££. They may need extra decorations to make it look like a wedding. Food and drink I think is the biggest spend. Depends on the rules of the venue if you are allowed to bring your own or not.

Some people however put their decorations or wedding dress on eBay and they look in perfect condition.
Etsy is another well priced online market place.
    Sellmywedding.com is another good one.
It depends what you want for your day but I would say it’s definitely on the lower end.

Totally realistic, depending on what you want. You need to sit down and work out what is most important to you and where you are happy to cut corners - that will tell you if it is feasible.

Hitched have an article on how to have a wedding for £3,000, which we found really helpful when we were planning ours. https://www.hitched.co.uk/wedding-planning/budget/how-to-plan-a-wedding-for-3000/ And you can trim down further than they suggest - e.g. we were going to get a plain supermarket cake and dress it up with a topper (total cost £30) until a friend offered to make one.

We are trying to do a budget wedding.
Just be careful with choices and prioritise what’s most important to you and your other half.
We have prioritised;-photographer -cake -my dress
Cut down on guests, we have decided to only have the very closest friends and family on our day. We have not invited children or cousins to our day time and have left these for the evening event. Have you got someone with a large garden? Where you could put a marquee up? Or is there a local event/sports hall you could use often they require a small refundable deposit if nothing is damaged. You can get amazing decorations to fill the room which don’t have to be expensive. Churches often only require a donation to the parish if you are wanting to get married in a church they often recommend about a £120 donation. Registrars prices depends are the area, we are paying £520 for our registrar. Photographer we used a large bit of our budget as photographs are the only thing you can look back on special moments with, however there is amazing photographers out there that are cheaper, we are paying £900 for all day coverage. Wedding dresses there is places liked wed4less and wed2be which offer fantastic dresses for great prices, but if this isn’t a priority ASOS have some beautiful wedding dresses for around £100. Local DJs are normally cheaper than big brands ones you’ll be recommend online, so it’s worth looking at who DJs local who has all equipment for our engagement party we had a DJ from 6-1am for £120. It just all depends what you want for your day. Good luck with planning 🥰
