Buying a dress on my own! Eeek

Alieyah, 4 May, 2025 at 08:38 Posted on Wedding Attire 0 8
Guys, I absolutely fell in love with a dress! I wanted to try on dresses by myself first to narrow it down for my entourage but after trying on 10 dresses I fell in love and knew it was the dress! So I purchased it. Thinking to surprise everyone on the day (including my mum and bridesmaids) anyone done this before?!

    Hey Charlotte,

I actually got my dress from Wed2be! I have one near my workplace in the City. I did go Romford bridal shop but couldn't find any I liked! X

Hi there, losts of my brides have done this, its a growing trend now, Most brides just want to cut out the noise and opinions of others and good for you, I would advice you take a breathe, sleep on it and decide the next day so that you are certain on your decision.

Totally normal—and honestly kind of magical! 💕 Lots of brides find

*the one* solo and keep it a surprise. If you feel confident and happy

in it, that’s what matters most. Your mum and bridesmaids will just

be excited to see you on the day. If you still want to include them,

you can always involve them in accessories or bridesmaid looks

—Azazie makes that easy with tons of mix-and-match options:

Yes—plenty of brides do this, and it’s totally okay 💕 If you knew it was the one, that’s what matters most. Surprising everyone on the day can actually make the moment even more special.

If you want to loop your bridesmaids in later with outfits (without spoiling your dress), Azazie is great for easy coordination and inspiration:

Trust your instinct—you did nothing wrong ✨
