Cake stand *flash*

LouLaBellexx, 13 September, 2012 at 17:12 Posted on Planning 0 16

Has anyone seen where I can either buy or hire the below cake stand from? I've been searching for SO long and only seem to find American suppliers who will not ship to the UK. There must be someone in the UK who loves sparkle as much as me and has used one of these stands!

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Xxx

You could make that with a bit of time and patience, wouldnt cost you much to do.

Could you use something like this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/0 and just bling up a regular cake stand?

I have seen one of these today in a candle shop. It was only small though like a mirror plate. I agree you could do it yourself using the diamnte ribbon. This is a picture of the wedding cake I had using the ribbon.

It was put ona silver cake stand and looked fab. Was super sparkly as well. You can buy the ribbon on ebay.

You can buy polystyrene cake dummies, and table mirrors glue mirror on top of dummy and cover with plastic diamante ribbon.

Thank you! Would the polystyrene dummy support the full cake? X

Thank You! I am so excited about it :-)

My Dad made the circular base from plywood and flexi ply (way to technical for me!) and hes very good so that didnt take him long at all, the diamonds are on a belt so just need to now attach them with double sided tape.

    xxx
