cake toppers yes/no??

We had a choc wedding cake (solid top tier and cup cakes). On the top we had a gold and crystal monogrammed topper-2 entwined M's.

It depends on the style of your cake and the overall theme of your wedding really. I can supply lots of different cake toppers here - www.dottydreams.weddingstar.com. Or you could have flowers. I think a topper does finish a cake off nicely.

I'm hoping to have a crystal cake topper, going to see my cake lady in May.

I am hoping to have a personalised one. H2b really wants his love for football incorporated into the day some how and i thought that this would be the least obvious way. (One of his ideas was trying to get his football teams mascot involved some how?)

So i'm hoping to get a personalised topper with me in my dress and h2b in his football gear.

We are! But not the traditional bride and groom - we are having our initials in diamantes..

I'm topping my cake with flowers, I am not having a multitiered cake and thought a flower cake topper would be the way to go. Although lately I am having wobbles as the personalised toppers look so fab!

We are having one, but you don't have to, it's your choice. I've been to weddings where they didn't have a topper on, just a pretty cake. xx

It depends on which cake we decide on but am definitely having either a crystal style one or flowers!

I've ordered cake toppers in full motorbike leathers really really hope they work out right, the first ones were terrible.

I've decided that if the cake topper doesn't look right on the top of the cake, then we'll just have it on the table next to the cake anyway. It's going to be a lovely keepsake for us for after the wedding.

This is similar to the cake we're having, only we're not having our initials on the icing, the icing will just be plain, and we're not having flowers on the top either.

H2B used to play professional football years ago(NOT for Man Utd or anything like that -only Barnet, and Southend, and a Cyprus team)before getting injured, but he is football mad and plays on saturdays, and is passionate about United. Be cool to have a little groom in a Ronaldo shirt! ?

Just get in contact with a someone who does personalised cake toppers, then you can send them information about each of you and they'll make up a cake topper according to your requirements. Then you could send a picture of your h2b in his football gear so maybe they can match up his strip.

It really depends ont he style of your cake and your whole theme as to having one or not it is all down to personal choice...
