Cakes are so expensive!!

    This is the one I like

    But when I click on the info it says large fruit cake, medium sponge and small chocolate.

    It is this one. Admittedly you will miss out on a bit of decoration, but could easily do something with it yourself. You can mix and match the tiers and it is VERY cheap to do it this way. Totally up to you, just another option.

    I mnaged to get ours (3 tier) for just under £160 BUUUUUT I did say it was a special birthday NOT wedding LOL!! Then again its not an obvious wedding cake ?

    Sounds about right, tbh. Ours comes as part of our catering package but when we went to choose our design, its marked up as £350 in the shop, 3 square tiers with ribbon and lilys.

    We were told that if we were taking fruit cake it would have to be the bottom tier as it is much heavier than the rest and could make the cake collapse! We thought a whole tier of fruit would go to waste. So settled on choc, lemon and victoria sponge Smiley laugh xx
