Can you help me find these

Pheonix, 4 November, 2010 at 14:07 Posted on Planning 0 13

Hi All,

I'm looking for tags for placenames that fit in with my vintage theme, I've got my heart set on something like the below but completely plain.

I'm usually pretty good at finding this stuff but my googling capabilities seem to be letting me down today!

Has anyone seen anything like this? I'm going to need approximately 100.

Thanks Guys!

or these http://www.gtfloristsupplies.co.uk/stationary-pricing/luggage-labels which you could add your own string or ribbon of your own choice

Oh and I searched for brown luggage tags to find that because I "think" thats what they are called

Lots of these on Ebay, but not with the nice material as the "string" - perhaps you could replace it with nice ribbon?

    Hi All,

    Thanks for all your help!

The folksy ones are perfect but I want them completely plain! ? I was originally going to go with some like the ones on not on the high st/ebay and I'm going to tie them with ribben so I may order some and see how they look.

If you want them completely plain, they stock them in WHSmiths.

Thanks for all your help, I've ordered a few from folksy and I'm going to try them out then I think I may get the ones from not on the high street!

Drifter, do you have any photos of how you used them? I am thinking of stamping the names on them and tying with ribbon.

Have you thought of getting brown parcel labels & dying them with teabags to age them. Really easy to do & will give them a more authentic look.

Put the teaboags in boiling water as you would when making a cuppa then just "wash" the tags with the teabag just gently to use the tea colouring to make the tags look watermarked & aged.
