Can you re cook a cake?

Lets say you made some cakes. And you took them out of the oven too early? And basically they are still raw pretty much inside and cannot be prised from thier cases for love nor money- can I put them back in the over to cook some more?

    In short no!

    If youve taken them out, prodded them, and they not done, you can put them straight back in however, if youve taken them out, let them cool THEN realised, then no, you cant, you needa start again!!

    How long did you leave them in for and what temp did you use?

    Every oven is different, mine needs 175c fan for about 12-15 mins (depending on depth of cupcake). I don't think your oven was hot enough.

    See, I would have said you could re-cook them. You mentioned nothing about them having to taste good/look good/not glue your jaw together or break your teeth.
