I think your best bet would be to call the airline - if it's important, then whatever we think, you could come unstuck if the check-in staff are unsure.
    Don't see why not though.

I dont see why not as long as its in a box or suitcase. the strangest thing i took was a box with xmas presents in when visiting my parents and had to use the box the xmas tree came in LOL so it looked as though i was traveling with my xmas tree. it was quite handy though as it had a handle ?

I would be a bit concerned because of the gasses etc in the fridge and the fact of it bouncing round with all the other luggage.

Surely a cool bag and some Ice would do the job on a daily basis?

A relative works as a Customer Services Manager for a regional airport.

She had someone ring (and leave messages & emails) to ask how long their turkey would take to defrost on a plane.

I'd be very surprised if the airline agreed to it. Why didn't you just book a hotel room with a fridge in it?

I don't think the mini fridges have refridgerant in them so I doubt it would be a problem. Really much easier to ring the airline though

Unless she is going SC but still doesn't explain it as she said a room. I would have also booked a room with a fridge, again not sure what you'd need the fridge for.

I have to have a fridge as I can't surface until I've had some coffee, and for that I need milk. It's also useful for storing bottled water and drinks especially if you have kids.

But it's cheaper to buy from the shop?
I've never had one in a hotel though but we are usually SC.

ATG's handy fridge-less hotel hint:- Fill the sink up with cold water - keeps beer cold! daaaa da!.?

The reason I need afridge is because my daughter is seriously ill and will probably be her last holiday abroad and we need to keep her medication cool we coud not find a hotel avail with a fridge you lot will may feel slightly guilty for taking the piss now or maybe not as you seem to like taking the piss so this will probably give you more ammo.

I never took the piss, I was curious that's all. And while I'm very sorry to hear about your daughter being so ill, you never mentioned that in your OP.
