cancer charity pins

Pancreas cancer is far less well known than many other cancers, but is a huge killer as the signs don't show until its to late, so its a very worthy cause, the pins are a dark purple I think?

I think its a lovely idea?

We are doing this at our wedding. If you contact cancer research they give you the info. U make a donation and tell them how many pin badges you want, also how many men/women there will be at your wedding. They send diff badges for each. They also send little cards for each (bit like a place cared) which say your name and the fact that you have made a donation on there behalf to cancer research. Look on their website, it says it there!!

They are the ones we had and bless our guests, nearly all of them put them on. It wasn't expected but it did bring a tear to my eye as the toastmaster did a speech about why they were there and i noticed loads of people putting them on during it. ?

Does it have to be pins for the men? Asda sell Everyman keyrings (I bought one for h2b) that are £1 each and are really quite stylish!

I dont think its a good idea, sorry. your charity is for you to support, not to push to others. its a no from me.

Hi we've bought the everyman cancer keyrings for our male guests, the ladies are getting breast cancer pins. Both charities are special to the family on both sides as we're both lose family memebers to cancer and MIL2B is a breast cancer surviour.

The cross bit pulls out which is used for a trolley fob!

We're going to place them in a small organza bag or wrap them in cellophane(sp??).

We're doing the spacehopper pin badges from Macmillan for the male guests at the wedding, and Breast Cancer ones for the female guests.

Macmillan gave H2B's mum and family lots of support when his dad was terminally ill with cancer so it was the perfect choice.
