Cannot import guestlist excel spreadsheet

I am having trouble uploading my excel guestlist (saved as instructed - guestlist.xls). I have tried on both our mac and pc but it comes up with a spread sheet with a lot of blank cells then a huge cell with lots of symbols in it, when you press 'continue' it comes up with server error 500?? We have tried saving the document in multiple ways but nothing helps.

Anyone got any ideas?

    Could you please email me - zoe.burke@hitched.co.uk - with details of which browser you're using (including the version if you know it) and a screen shot of what happens (if you have one).

    Edit - can you also send me the saved Excel file?

    I'll then be able pass the information on to our tech team.

    I'm having trouble too, I click it to import it but it then puts me on import guests but doesn't show anything... Can I have some help please? Am i doing anything wrong.

    I can import the names etc but how do I then add them to the evening and wedding breakfast?
