Caribbean wedding 🌴🌴🍍☀️🥥

My first suggestion would be check when their hurricane season is because if it’s the same time you’re getting married, I would avoid it. If not, Cuba is amazing. I’ve stayed in Varadero which is very touristy and the Cayo Coco island which is less touristy and your get a real feel for what Cuba is really like.


I’ve also been to Cancun in Mexico which was lovely. Both are really fantastic destinations.

Feeling like I can’t find many people in the uk that has got married or getting married in the Caribbean 😅 Do all your guests have to stay at the same hotel as you ? As I know some of my guests might not want to as we have to stay in a child friendly hotel 😂 but when I enquired at a destination wedding place they said 80% of guests have to stay there ! Also the prices was expensive to what guests can get themselves ? Have you booked your whole wedding and everything through tui or have you got a wedding planner in St Lucia ? Thankyou 😊 xx

Yes that sounds a good idea ! So you booked through tui but didn’t mention the wedding to them you got in touch with the hotel for that ? Do you have a wedding planner there ? Are you having a big dress ? 😅 ours will be very small too as it’s a lot to expect people to pay to come but it’s been my dream go get married there with steel drums! 😂 xx

I think we are going to try just booking as a holiday then ring the hotel see if that makes it any cheaper ! I do feel like I need to go in to tui and virgin ir any travel agents to see what they say I’m just rubbish at organisation 🤯😂 and I want it to be right !! 😂 are you sending invites out to people it just mentioning it ? Almost every hotel in The Bahamas has a wedding offer with your stay. Some require you to stay 4 nights and they will organise your wedding for you (included in your 4 night cost, but obv this doesn't include anything for your guests). Check out hotels like The Warrick (All inclusive) etc. Happy to help as I live in The Bahamas lol!

Yea for sure, only thing to note that between December - April/May is peak season as it is not hurricane season or too hot. But deff peak around Easter.

Yes definitely! The Warrick is an adult only hotel, but there are so many more hotels that would accommodate children lol!

Sounds lovely I’m back to square one not sure which island 😂🤦🏼‍♀️ looking at jAmaica as the hotels look like they have massive pools but then I’m not sure I just want a really nice hotel with the beautiful bright beach 😂 . I went in to Virgin and tui and I still can’t decide looking online for a wedding planner in the Caribbean or one here that’s been and can tell me where they think I would like ! How did you decide ?! Xx
