Cat Name (now with pic that works!)

*Poppet*, 7 August, 2008 at 10:49 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 40

Hi ?

We picked up our new kitten last night and can't decide on a name for him. We had decided on Noodles (wasn't my idea...) but it doesn't seem to suit him. He's very independant and not particularly shy. I've added a pic of him to see if anyone can come up with better suggestions than I have ? Hopefully it should work!

    I can't see the picture.

How about Batman? Or Dave? Or The Baron? Or Colin? Or Graham? Or Onion?*

    * - you can't have onion, that's the name of my next cat

I like proper names for cats - mine is Otto, and I previously had an Edna (male) and an Elsie, who was female.

I like Colin, Dave and Bernard. My next cat is going to be called Ralph though.

We're currently thinking of names for the two we're keeping. So far we've got Victor, Balthazar, Barnabas, Greebo and Quentin. I'm liking Victor and Barnabus most.

Aw, I had a grey kitten called Monty about 10 years ago. He was of unknown parentage but obviously had a bit of Abyssinian in him (or at least his mum did at one point ?). A lovely lanky, cheeky, gorgeous boy he was.

I'm thinking "Hooby's kitten" has a ring to it. Please send him to me. ?

? I'm really liking Monty atm Smiley smile He's being so good. We only got him last night and he has settled so well. I'm never going to get any work done though - and to think I reasoned that working from home would be more beneficial for the kitten!

My cat's called Nozzle. It started off a a temporary name until we chose a proper one, but it stuck. We call him Nozzie or Noz for short.

My family always seem to go for foodie names we've had a toffee and fudge, two brothers, and a pickle. At the minute i have horlicks and ramsey, named after the rather sexy gordon, swoon.
