We are planning our wedding for 2013 and have found our preferred venue which does not charge a corkage fee.
They do not have a preferred caterer and so we are on the hunt for good one in essex, but who does not charge (or does not charge the earth!) to open and poor our wine both for the reception drinks and for the wedding breakfast.
We are looking circa £25 - £35 per head for the main meal just to give you an idea of budget. I'm sure most caterers do but it would be great if they also include all the cutlery, crockery, glasses, setting up etc, waiting staff and can provide canapes as an option.
We do not need them for a bar or anything in the evening as the venue offers that included in the booking.
