I came across a humanist/celebrant wedding speech template of a woman who officiated (if that's the right word, sorry if not!) her two friends same sex wedding, with a link to her blog about it.

Since then, IT issues have meant I have lost all bookmarks and links to this blog - does anyone know the one I mean and could possibly provide the link?! Huge thanks in advance.

I'm an Independent Civil Celebrant - not a Humanist, but there are loads of example wordings for ceremonies around the internet. If you look on the Humanist website, www.humanist.org.uk you might be able to click through to something you're interested in.
Alternatively, there are lots of examples for same sex couple wedding ceremonies out there. A quick Google search will bring up a lot of Celebrants' own websites, some of which will have a blog.
Just a word of caution on using a template. As a fully qualified Celebrant, I and others like me would NEVER use a template to create a wedding (or a funeral for that matter!), as there is a lack of connection with the people you are talking about. A template is a good dropping-off point, but only that, really. Just write from your heart!
Alternatively, I can help you if you want, but I think you'll do just fine. The only thing to remember is that at the moment, it is still only Registrars and Clergy who can legally perform the marriage in England and Wales, but hopefully this monopoly will end soon and our lovely couples can have the ceremony that they want and is totally "them"!
