Is there something that you both like that has something celebratory? We’re having the F1 podium music because we both love F1. My sister had the Friends theme tune.

We used I'm Yours by Jason Mraz. We looked through our favourite playlists on Spotify to find something we both liked.

I work as a wedding coordinator and i have to say the most fun song i've heard couples exit their ceremony too has to be ~ Signed, Sealed Delivered IM YOUR'S!

But for any inspo have a look on Spotify as there is a few ready made playlists for songs for different parts of a wedding!

We're going for something from one of our shared favourite movies - definitely think about the movies you love and look at their soundtracks, it's great inspiration!

We nearly went for I Believe in a Thing called Love which I just think would be hilariously fun and I'd love a wedding to use this, ultimately we didn't because it wasn't meaningful to us and I'm a sap for sentimentality haha but wanted to throw it out as a suggestion!

Also just wanted to say that I know a lot of people avoid overused stuff (how many times have we heard Can't Help Falling in Love or 1000 Years as processional songs / Signed, Sealed, Delivered or All You Need is Love for recessionals?) BUT if one of those overused songs is meaningful to you and you love it, don't let the fact that other people also love it stop you using it! Sometimes it's a case of reframing "overused" to "classic"! On the day, when you're in the moment, you won't be thinking about all the other weddings that have used that song, you'll only be thinking about your wedding and how special it is Smiley heart

Thankyou so much! I definitely needed to hear this! ‘Our song’ is backstreet boys I want it that way and I was like no way we could use this as walking down the aisle and wanted to pick another lovey song haha but it’s us so maybe it’s the one! Thankyou xx
