Ceremony music for a beach wedding

littlemiss7, 26 of May of 2014 at 14:59 Posted on Honeymoons & Getting Married Abroad 0

Hi,

We'll be saying 'I do' with sandy toes and salty kisses on a white sandy beach in Dominican Republic!

I just wondered if anyone has any advice on ceremony music and how many songs I should have. I've got a couple in mind but struggling to find an upbeat recessional song for when we've tied the knot.

Any suggestions???

Thanks in advance

From excited bride to be :-)

    Dominican Republic, lucky you!

With regards to advice with the ceremony music, it usually goes something like this:

    - 1 song for the processional/entrance (well, an extract of a song. You'll only hear about 30 seconds as you walk down the aisle)

    - 2-3 songs for the signing of the register

    - 1 song for the recessional

With your wedding taking place in Latin America, why not go for an upbeat Latin tune. Something like Desafinado or Ilha de Coral might be nice. Ilha de Coral has a nice intro too which would be a good preparation before you walk back down the aisle. If you haven't heard these tunes I could possibly record some samples for you. PM me and let me know!

    All the best,

    Ed

p.s. If you pay for my flight I'll play at your wedding! :p
